Mr. Ritter recently joined Triumph Real Estate Corporation to manage the Company’s portfolio of commercial real estate assets, devise strategies for growth, act as the liaison with the investment community and recognize opportunities for profit while identifying the risks of any investment. Mr. Ritter’s responsibilities include Triumph Real Estate Corporation’s commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, management, consulting and financial restructuring objectives.
Mr. Ritter hails from Australia and began his real estate career over 17 years ago in appraisal of commercial and rural properties in South Australia; later becoming a commercial leasing broker in Queensland, Australia.
Prior to joining Triumph Real Estate Corporation, Mr. Ritter was President of Zenith Properties Inc., in Newport Beach, CA, where he sold development projects for land developers and acquired commercial properties suitable for investment and development. Before founding Zenith Properties Inc. in 2006, Mr. Ritter was a Partner with real estate development firm HDS Group, LLC (Beverly Hills, CA) from 2004-2006 and prior to this an Investment Sales Broker with Colliers Seeley International (Los Angeles, CA) from 2001-2004.
Mr. Ritter’s vast experience in the real estate industry has involved development, investment, sales and consulting activity on a wide spectrum of real estate projects. This experience has transpired both as a principal and on behalf of investors, land owners, institutions and government agencies, and includes work with high-profile development projects, large-scale acquisitions, bulk portfolio transactions and complex public/private agreements. Mr. Ritter has acquired, operated, managed and sold commercial real estate investment and development portfolios from $5 to $50 million in aggregate value. Mr. Ritter’s expertise in supply negotiations with government agencies enabled him to create profitable partnerships and he has secured contracts with large corporations and cities such as City of Los Angeles, City of Whittier, Richmond American Homes, Bank of America and GE Capital. Mr. Ritter successfully purchased and secured development approvals for projects in excess of $200 million dollars during the years 2004 through 2006 and he restructured equity and debt for over $50 million in both US and Australian commercial real estate markets in calendar year 2009. Mr. Ritter has increased investor revenue often in excess of 200%, while maintaining a successful portfolio of projects showing no loss.
Mr. Ritter earned a Master of Business Administration, with a focus on Property and Project Management, from the University of South Australia in 1995, and a Bachelor of Arts, with a focus on International Business, from Wichita State University, Kansas in 1991 Mr. Ritter is a member of Building Industry Association of Southern California and the National Association of Home Builders.
Mr. Ritter has currently relocated to Denver from Newport Beach, CA.
