Mr. Ruff created Triumph Real Estate Corporation in 1998 for the purpose of seeking and pursuing innovative new approaches to commercial property investment, development, operations and corporate services.  Based in Denver, Colorado, Triumph is active in multiple markets throughout the United States.

Mr. Ruff is responsible for leading the firm’s investment and development business, finding opportunities and visualizing operational plans capable of creating maximum value in real estate assets.  He is also responsible for sourcing, building and maintaining relationships with Triumph’s financial partners and clients, and overseeing all acquisition, disposition, Asset Management and Property Operations activities. 

Since its founding, Triumph Real Estate Corporation has engineered the acquisition, development/re-development, operation and re-financing or disposition of commercial real estate assets valued at over $100 million.  Typical projects range from $2-$20 MM at acquisition, and include office, industrial, retail, multi-family and mixed-use property types.  Triumph also actively provides asset management, property management, development and financial services to others who need turnaround and/or financing expertise for their properties.

Prior to starting Triumph, Mr. Ruff gained a broad based set of skills in commercial real estate while serving in various positions with some of the top national and regional firms in the industry.  He was a top office leasing broker at Cushman & Wakefield’s Detroit, Michigan office from 1989-1994; served as Asset Manager and Development Associate at Pacifica Holding Company in Denver from 1994-1996; and served as the Director of Investment Services at Coldwell Banker Commercial in Denver from 1996-1998.

Mr. Ruff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Michigan State University in 1989. He is involved with several trade and business organizations including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP), and was involved with the Entrepreneurs Organization for several years.

Also active in the community, Mr. Ruff is a regular volunteer at the Parker Task Force food bank and is involved in several ministries and committees at Ave Maria Catholic Church and School in Parker.  He also served on the Board of Directors of Brokers Benefiting Kids (BBK) for eight years from 1998-2006, serving as the Chairman of the event in 2004.  He currently lives in Parker, Colorado with his wife Barbara and their two children, Cydney and Sabrina.
