Mr. Ruff created Triumph Real Estate Corporation in 1998 for the purpose of pursuing innovative new approaches to commercial property development, operations and corporate services.

Mr. Ruff is responsible for leading the firm’s investment and development business and the visualization of operational plans capable of creating maximum value in real estate assets. He is responsible for sourcing equity and debt, and building and maintaining relationships with the firm’s capital partners. Mr. Ruff also oversees all aspects of asset management and project management. Since its beginning, Triumph Real Estate Corporation has engineered the acquisition, development/redevelopment, operation and re-financing or disposition of commercial real estate assets valued at over $80 million.

Prior to Triumph, Mr. Ruff gained a broad based set of skills in commercial real estate while serving in various positions with some of the top national and regional firms in the industry. He was a top office leasing broker at Cushman & Wakefield’s Detroit, Michigan office from 1989 1994; worked in acquisitions, financing, development and asset management at Pacifica Holding Company (then Denver’s largest commercial landlord) from 1994-1996; and managed the Investment Sales Division for Coldwell Banker Commercial from 1996 until the creation of Triumph in 1998. During those years, he developed over 250,000 square feet of new construction, was involved in the acquisition or disposition of investment properties representing over $100 million in consideration, and leased over half a million square feet of commercial space.

Mr. Ruff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Michigan State University in 1989. He is involved with several trade and business organizations, including the Young Entrepreneur's Organization (YEO), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the National Association of Realtors, and the Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Realtors.

Also active in the community, Mr. Ruff volunteers at Ave Maria Catholic Church and School in Parker, and he has served on the Board of Directors of Brokers Benefiting Kids (BBK) since 1998. He served as Chairman for the 13th annual BBK event in 2004, in which members of the commercial real estate community raised over $375,000 for Denver area children's charities. He currently lives in Parker, Colorado with his wife Barbara and their two children, Cydney and Sabrina.
